MERCENARY MECHS
Set in the near future, in a "post-democratic" world, where fair and just rule is a joke, the man with the biggest stick is the one best off...and the ones with the biggest sticks on the battlefield are the mechs-for-hire. Potential asset or crippling (and expensive) liability, they are the heroes, villains, and shapers of the remains of civilization.
