MERCENARY MECHS
Set in the near future, in a "post-democratic" world, where fair and just rule is a joke, the man with the biggest stick is the one best off, and the ones with the biggest sticks on the battlefield are the mechs-for-hire. Potential asset or crippling (and expensive) liability, they are the heroes, villains, and shapers of the remains of civilization.
Currently in progress as a novella-length story, with the end goal of putting it up on Kindle Direct Publishing. It is based off the short stories I originally wrote about the mechs, and develops them further. Or at least it will, once I get to that point. One page at a time, one day at a time.
